I’m buying an older home and it needed a quick repair (5’ of metal trim) on the roof line. I called three other companies who wouldn’t take the job because it was “too small”. A friend recommended I call Edgar, not only did he commit to complete the work, but he also committed to having the work done within two business days! Please don't waste your time sitting through multiple mind numbing roofing presentations just to get an unrealistic estimate. Call E&A and save yourself a ton of time and hassle. Edgar immediately responded to our estimate request, came out within a day, and gave us his best price (without a dog and pony show). His best price was super reasonable, so we went with him.

As for the work, they did an amazing job. They tarped off the entire area and didn't leave one nail/splinter.

After some miscommunication, I previously left a bad review. Once Edgar reached out to me personally to explain the issue had been resolved. Edgar and his team are amazing!! The estimate given was over $2,000 cheaper than other companies for the same work. There was water leaking in from a damaged skylight causing internal damage everytime it rained. Edgar made sure to get the work done ASAP to prevent any additional damage. His team replaced the skylights as well as replaced the damaged roof. He also fixed all the interior celing damage. From initial meeting to completion was less than 10 days (and to be honest most of that were delays on my end). Other companies told me there was at least a 4 to 5 week wait. Edgar and his team were so easy to work with and always polite and professional! I work from home, and they were so quite i kept forgetting i was having work done. I would highly recommend E&A Contracting and will be using them again for future projects.

When I wanted to add some additional work to the contact it was hassle free. Everyone working on the house was super nice. I have never met a more polite and hard working group! I was working from home during a lot of the work and I would have never known they were in my house. 5 stars really is not enough for the job they did on the roof as well as the internal ceiling work that they completed. I would highly recommend them, and will be using him again for all my future projects!

Thank you E&A Contracting for the work! Came by twice (per our request) to provide a quote for skylight replacement and indoor painting post-repair. Provided a timely quote, and was easy to set up a time to do the work. Skylight replacement was done on one day, and indoor painting was done two business days later. All completed with high quality and in a timely manner, would recommend!

They wrapped all the exterior roof trim on my townhouse in aluminum so further repairs/painting will not be needed. Their representative Alejandra was very pleasant to work with. The workers were professional and did a great job. Also they priced matched a cheaper estimate I received. All in all a very good experience and I am highly satisfied and would recommend this company.

This was probably the easiest renovation we have done on our Towson house. The large crew came on the scheduled day and put on the new roof in a day. They left the area clean and we were very happy with the results. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I had E&A contracting for the installation of a new roof. The owner, Edgar, is very professional. He did a thorough inspection and came up with a reasonable quote. On the day of installation everything went smooth. They started in the morning and completed the job by the evening. Also gave me 25 years of workmanship warranty on the new roof. Very happy with his service and highly recommend him.

Called in the morning for roof repair and they were at the site by evening for repair. They also did the walkthrough inspection of the roof and did a couple of minor repairs other than the repairs I called for. I am happy with the work and would call again if any arise.

After calling three other roofing companies for a leak over our garage (none of them showed up). We contacted E&R. Edgar came out right on time to look at the damage. After the roof inspection Edgar advised that we were due for a new roof. Edgar was able to get us a new roof with no money out off pocket and repair the damage to the drywall in the garage. We were so impressed with the work on the roof and garage we used them for door trim/windows repairs & painting project we had. If you are looking for a new roof or any other home projects, look no further.

We badly needed attic ventilation in our 1922 home that had absolutely none. Edgar was punctual and communicative from the start. I have a pretty complicated roof and was a little bit worried about it but the roofers took care of all problems include re-flashing skylights. E&A Contracting company replaced my roof. They were very professional, on time and did an excellent job. I am very pleased and would recommend them to others. Edgar and his crew were great!

I hired E&A to replace my 26 yr old roof. Edgar was very prompt, responsive, polite and professional. Communication with Edgar is best by text. He quoted me a very competitive price for a O.C. architectural shingle replacement and all the modern moisture/ice barriers, vents and drip edges. I also had the entire gutter system upgraded from 5 inch to 6 inch seamless K gutter w/ new downspout . The job was fantastic. The crew came out at 7 am to strip off the old roof and worked until 5 pm when finished. One small mistake was made in one section of gutter, but it was corrected within two days, properly. Edgar is very dedicated and responsible. The workers know their trade and do a great job in communicating as a team and to the homeowner for any special needs. Roofing is a dangerous and tricky job and not to be treated as a commodity. You need to hire a company that understands the proper method in installation and willing to use good materials. I was a Maryland Home Improvement Contractor for 10 years so I know what to look for. I would not hesitate to use E&A again and would highly recommend their detail, workmanship, service, and professionalism in any home improvement. Dealing with them is a pleasure. Very professional, straight forward and punctual. These guys were always on time from our first meeting to stating & finishing the job on time. My property was in the same condition when they left as it was when they arrived. These guys went over landscaping an entire backyard at least a half dozen times to make sure there was nothing was disturbed. None of my landscaping was disturbed, they were very conscientious as not to block any of the streets or the other neighbors driveways. All of the workers were extremely courteous and professional considering they started the job 6:00 AM on a Sunday. None of my neighbors even knew that I had a roof being replaced. They were not the most expensive but then again they were not the cheapest. I am in the roofing industry from the commercial side and the attention to detail from these guys was unsurpassed. I would highly recommend them without any reservation.

Edgar is very professional and extremely competent. My job was the result of hail and windy damage. I presented Edgar with the claim info from the insurance company. He presented superb documentation countering the insurance co which I submitted as I write this. I am figuring a battle with the insurance co and gave my attorney all the documents. My attorney was impressed. Now for the job. OUTSTANDING the only hang up was weather as that pushed the job back. Just a side note. There were 5/6 guys in the crew. He bought them all lunch. Besides looking after the customer, he takes care of his men.

After contacting the company and setting a date of service I received a call from the owner of the company,Edgar, that very day asking If I would be available that evening for him to look at the job. This was on a Friday. I was and he arrived in the late afternoon and evaluated the job and was able to give me a quote at that point. He then informed me that he thought he would be able to get to the job the next day. I was overjoyed as there was a prediction of heavy rain coming Saturday evening and with the hole in my roof pretty much assured I would have a mess in the house. Saturday came and about 11 am a worker showed up completed the job and was done in good order. My original date of service was for the following Wednesday so needless to say I was pleased with the fact that the job was done 4 days early.
