"So many of you know I started a new job last year. One unplanned duty of my new role included commercial landlord duties. One thing I figured out quickly was some of the former maintenance providers were not going to be a good fit for me. We have two gigantic buildings with a new landlord was a bit overwhelming. I recalled seeing many posts about the business Darryl and his friend Edgar had built and the many quality jobs associated with their work. I reached out to him initially about a roofing job. Edgar and his crew were extremely professional and efficient with their work. After assisting me with the critical information that was needed for my insurance company to process my claim, Edgar was able put my work order on his calendar and get his crew out to my house on a Saturday to start the job. These guys are just the best. We hired them the first time for a new roof. They did a fabulous job. From consulting to finishing, they were punctual, polite and honest. Then we had a leak from our shower to the basement. That was fixed promptly and efficiently, and plan on using them for a shower overhaul. Then they painted our entire downstairs and partial upstairs. Again, prompt, efficient and just a pleasure. They left the areas just as they found them and then some. Then just recently they installed a new patio door and guided us on the purchase of it. And finally, after the door was installed, that same day, they put in railings on our small front porch and down 2 steps. Again, the job was done professionally and efficiently. I’m so glad we found this company and we will call them anytime we need their expert help. Btw, they did 3 other roofing jobs in our neighborhood which everyone was happy with! Showed up quickly and provided an accurate estimate and plan for replacing a porch roof. In a single day their crew showed up, removed 5 layers of roofing, reframed it, put down new wood, and put on a new roof. They even cleaned up the area nicely after they were done. Highly recommend them!

I’ve had several chances to work with this contractor. I’ve had my room done, kitchen, totally remodeled and my living room and dining room painted with new molding added. I’ve had a new railing installed in my foyer and most recently my laundry room insulated and finished with a door added. All work done to my specifications and all done in a timely manner. The guys were on time and left promptly at 5 pm. They were polite and helpful. I have a few more projects I will be scheduling them for. Their prices are reasonable.

I called E&A Contracting to assess the situation and repair it. They came out quickly and saw other areas that could be future potential problems. I’m buying an older home and it needed a quick repair (5’ of metal trim) on the roof line. I called three other companies who wouldn’t take the job because it was “too small”. A friend recommended I call Edgar, not only did he commit to complete the work, but he also committed to having the work done within two business days! I initially contacted E&A Contracting for an estimate of wind roof damage. The response was quick, pricing great, and the work was professional and thorough, with pictures provided. Please don't waste your time sitting through multiple mind numbing roofing presentations just to get an unrealistic estimate. Call E&A and save yourself a ton of time and hassle. Edgar immediately responded to our estimate request, came out within a day, and gave us his best price (without a dog and pony show). His best price was super reasonable, so we went with him.

As for the work, they did an amazing job. They tarped off the entire area and didn't leave one nail/splinter.

After some miscommunication, I previously left a bad review. Once Edgar reached out to me personally to explain the issue had been resolved. Edgar and his team are amazing!! The estimate given was over $2,000 cheaper than other companies for the same work. There was water leaking in from a damaged skylight causing internal damage everytime it rained. Edgar made sure to get the work done ASAP to prevent any additional damage. His team replaced the skylights as well as replaced the damaged roof. He also fixed all the interior celing damage. From initial meeting to completion was less than 10 days (and to be honest most of that were delays on my end). Other companies told me there was at least a 4 to 5 week wait. Edgar and his team were so easy to work with and always polite and professional! I work from home, and they were so quite i kept forgetting i was having work done. I would highly recommend E&A Contracting and will be using them again for future projects.

When I wanted to add some additional work to the contact it was hassle free. Everyone working on the house was super nice. I have never met a more polite and hard working group! I was working from home during a lot of the work and I would have never known they were in my house. 5 stars really is not enough for the job they did on the roof as well as the internal ceiling work that they completed. I would highly recommend them, and will be using him again for all my future projects!

Thank you E&A Contracting for the work! Came by twice (per our request) to provide a quote for skylight replacement and indoor painting post-repair. Provided a timely quote, and was easy to set up a time to do the work. Skylight replacement was done on one day, and indoor painting was done two business days later. All completed with high quality and in a timely manner, would recommend!

They wrapped all the exterior roof trim on my townhouse in aluminum so further repairs/painting will not be needed. Their representative Alejandra was very pleasant to work with. The workers were professional and did a great job. Also they priced matched a cheaper estimate I received. All in all a very good experience and I am highly satisfied and would recommend this company.

This was probably the easiest renovation we have done on our Towson house. The large crew came on the scheduled day and put on the new roof in a day. They left the area clean and we were very happy with the results. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I had E&A contracting for the installation of a new roof. The owner, Edgar, is very professional. He did a thorough inspection and came up with a reasonable quote. On the day of installation everything went smooth. They started in the morning and completed the job by the evening. Also gave me 25 years of workmanship warranty on the new roof. Very happy with his service and highly recommend him.

Called in the morning for roof repair and they were at the site by evening for repair. They also did the walkthrough inspection of the roof and did a couple of minor repairs other than the repairs I called for. I am happy with the work and would call again if any arise.

After calling three other roofing companies for a leak over our garage (none of them showed up). We contacted E&R. Edgar came out right on time to look at the damage. After the roof inspection Edgar advised that we were due for a new roof. Edgar was able to get us a new roof with no money out off pocket and repair the damage to the drywall in the garage. We were so impressed with the work on the roof and garage we used them for door trim/windows repairs & painting project we had. If you are looking for a new roof or any other home projects, look no further.
